The producers of Hollywood’s newest sci-fi franchise scour the Internet in search of its freshest face to play Cadet Bradbury, fearless sidekick to the solar system’s newest leading man, Commander Matt Kemmer.

(Hollywood, CA) Space Command, the retro science fiction franchise created by Writer-Producer-Director Marc Scott Zicree (The Twilight Zone Companion, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Babylon 5) has announced the finalists for the role of Cadet Bradbury in its upcoming feature, Space Command: Empire.  Nine actors were selected as finalists for the role of the youthful and impetuous space cadet who, along with Commander Matt Kemmer and the crew of the space cruise, Paladin, patrol the solar system and beyond.

Space Command’s producers present five finalists for the lead in their first feature following an online audition process that generated thousands of auditions from around the world.

(Hollywood, CA – October 25, 2012) Space Command, the retro science fiction franchise created by Writer-Producer-Director Marc Scott Zicree (The Twilight Zone Companion, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Babylon 5) has announced the finalists for the leading role in its first feature film production.  The five actors were selected from among thousands of submissions, resulting in 1,200 auditions posted to YouTube by hopefuls from around the world.  All five actors will come to Los Angeles to read lines with some of the other cast members, which includes major actors from Lost, Falling Skies, Star Trek Voyager, Deep Space Nine, Babylon 5, Buffy, X-Files, Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy and more.

The finalists for the role of Commander Matt Kemmer are:

  • Blaine Gray
  • Sarah Maraffino
  • Aaron Massey
  • Mike Reeping
  • James Ryen

The Kickstarter campaign for Space Command, a live action series of movies, has officially been a success. Reaching it’s goal number of $75k in just three days, the celebrity endorsed (Neil Gaiman, Amber Benson…) series has now surged up to over $220k in Kickstarted funding. (Read the entire post here.)
